Welcome as a tenant at Rådstua Teaterhus! Rådstua is a listed building that has been a theater for the past 50 years. Show consideration for the building and not least for the other users of Rådstua Teaterhus.
As a tenant of premises at Rådstua Teaterhus, you are obliged to familiarize yourself with the routines and rules for renting.
Key manager
As the key holder, you are personally responsible for the key, alarm code and password to the alarm centre. You are also responsible for evacuating the area to which you have a key, should a fire break out. The key is signed out in advance, or on arrival.

Please note the following:
When using technical equipment and rigging - an approved technician must be connected.
No emergency exits must be blocked at any time, from the time the rigging in is completed until the rigging has finished. There are three emergency exits from the Provisoriet. Use the door magnets if the entrance doors are to be left open.
There must be no sawing or other work taking place that could cause dust in the Provisional Room or other parts of the house. All work involving carpentry and painting must be cleared with Rådstua Teaterhus first.
In the case of productions that last over several days, the tenant is obliged to have cleaned the floor so that cleaners can enter between 08:00 and 09:00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Consider whether floors must be cleaned daily according to activity.
All audience screenings must be clarified with Rådstua Teaterhus and there must always be someone assigned the role of responsible audience host.
It is not allowed to hang anything in the sprinkler system.
The kitchen on the 2nd floor is available. Clean up after yourself. Any dirty table linen is put in the dishwasher in the kitchen.
Rubbish must be sorted according to the current rules for optical sorting in Tromsø municipality. Locked containers in the backyard to the north. Your borrowed key goes to this locker. The bags must not be too large for the hatch.
The tenant is charged NOK 500 per working hour started if Rådstua Teaterhus has to carry out extraordinary cleaning or washing.
Rådstua Teaterhus does not have a liquor grant. All servings containing alcohol must be clarified in advance with Rådstua Teaterhus and Tromsø Municipality.
Max number of audience for internal viewing without audience host: 20 people
Checklist for downrigging:
Scenery, props and personal belongings are removed.
The floors are cleaned and brushed thoroughly, tape is removed from floors and walls.
Other temporary fasteners are gently removed. In the event of damage to structures, repair costs are invoiced.
Scenography and other things are dismantled and thrown/removed. The tenant must arrange for the removal/renting of the container themselves.
Technical equipment is rigged down and placed according to agreement with Rådstua Teaterhus.
Instructions for locking and using the alarm:
After 16:00 on weekdays and 24/7 at weekends, all external doors MUST be locked.
When there are performances, it is of course allowed to have the doors open.
When you leave the premises, remember to set the alarm. See alarm procedure.
If the alarm should be triggered by mistake, enter your code to stop the sound. Immediately call the security company and enter the password. This stops the call-out. The telephone number of the security company is on the code panel.
If the security company has to respond due to an error in the use of the alarm, the key responsible person is charged the call-out fee

The nearest defibrillator can be found at Tromsø Town Hall (Rådhuset)
